PUBLIC NOTICE OF SCHEDULE FOR REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS OF 

THE ROANOKE VALLEY RESOURCE AUTHORITY FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2026

Notice is hereby given that the regular meetings of the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority will be held at the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority’s Tinker Creek Transfer Station, 1020 Hollins Road, NE, Roanoke, Virginia, and are as follows: 

  •  February 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (Organization Meeting)
  •  April 1, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
  •  June 24, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
  •  August 26, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
  •  October 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
  •  December 2, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.

Notice is further given that other emergency or special called meetings of the Authority may be scheduled in accordance with applicable law.

Agendas are available on the website on the Friday prior to the meeting, or by contacting the Board Secretary. Minutes are available on the website following Board approval.

Nine members are appointed by each of the four participating localities. Members serve on the RVRA Board of Directors for four years.
