Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

Register Online

You must preregister for a 30-minute slot so we can have adequate staff on hand to assist you. You need to bring your ticket to the event. Please check in at the gate with the attendant.

Free monthly collection events take place the third Saturday of each month, beginning at 12:00 noon for the residents of the Cities of Roanoke and Salem, Roanoke County and Town of Vinton. Preregistration is required to bring items to these events. This enables us to have adequate staff on hand to assist with the unloading of materials. 

You must register no later than 24 hours before the event. Cut off is 12:00 noon the Friday prior to the event.

You can register online for our next event or by calling (540) 283-6562. If you must cancel, please call 540-283-6562 prior to the event. We reserve the right to cancel HHW events.  Please check our website for cancellation notices.
