GROUNDWATER AND SURFACE WATER MONITORING

The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority is accepting proposals to select a firm qualified to primarily perform groundwater monitoring and surface water monitoring in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Permits for our Smith Gap Regional and Rutrough Road Landfills, along with the surface water monitoring at the Tinker Creek Transfer Station. Interested parties may contact the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority at (540) 857-5050 or on-line at www.rvra.net to obtain a copy of the request for proposals.

Proposals, in triplicate, will be accepted until 2:00 PM, local time prevailing, May 30, 2023 at the offices of the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority, 1020 Hollins Road, NE, Roanoke, VA 24012. Mailed proposals shall be addressed to:  Roanoke Valley Resource Authority, 1020 Hollins Road, NE, Roanoke, VA 24012. 

    The procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act, section 2.2-43000, et. seq., Code of Virginia (1950), as amended. The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept the proposal that is considered to be in the Authority’s best interest.
