Mulch

RVRA Mulch - photo of large equipment with mulch100 cubic yards of mulch is available the first five business days of each month for residents of the cities of Roanoke and Salem, Roanoke County and the Town of Vinton.  Mulch is provided on a first come - first served basis.  

Availability

Mulch is available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. except for designated holidays. A cover or tarp for the mulch is required. Only one scoop will be loaded per visit for pick-up trucks and small trailers.

We have a contract to sell the remaining mulch to one contractor so we can no longer sell to citizens.
